Two Chinese Glazed Porcelain Figures of Males

First half of 20th Century

the first a scholar, wearing long robes and a hat, the right hand resting on a cane; the second the warrior Wu Song, dressed in a loose outfit showing the bare left chest and shoulder; both figures standing on rectangular bases incised with three-character marker's marks, further raised on a hardwood stand. 

Height of taller 16 3/4 in., 42.5 cm.
